Ina (Crawley) Nelson-Castleberry

Services for Ina Nelson-Castleberry, 97, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Ada First Free Will Baptist Church, Revs. Dean Stone and David Sutton will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Castleberry passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at a local nursing home. She was born March 4, 1921 at Cumberland County, Kentucky to Joseph and Fannie Booher Crawley. She and her family moved to this area in 1929. She attended Vanoss School.

She married Audie Nelson August 14, 1941 in Ada. He preceded her in death June 19, 1982 in Ada. She later married Bill Castleberry December 26, 1990 at the First Baptist Church in Ada. He preceded her in death July 29, 1999 at Ada.

Mrs. Castleberry was a homemaker and a member of the Ada First Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Dewayne Nelson and wife Sheryl of San Antonio, TX; three daughters, Pam Scroggins and husband Tim of Francis, Sharon Martin and husband Jerry of Tulsa and Billie Baucom and husband Pat of McComb, MI; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; and a daughter, Deanna Nelson-Hurst in 1977; one son, Jerry Nelson; and a step-daughter, Karen Miller.

Bearers will be grandsons, Jay Nelson, Brian Scroggins, Greg Nelson, Steve Foster, Jason Hurst, Mike Nelson, and Blake Crawford.

Memorials may be made to the First Freewill Baptist Church, 421 S. Ash, Ada, OK 74820.
