Services for John G. "Buddy" Campbell, 70, of Ada are at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; the Rev. Coy Howry will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Campbell passed away Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, at his home . He was born Oct. 8, 1944, in Ada to Jess and Olivia Kite Campbell. He graduated from Byng High School.

Buddy married Connie Vernell Delozier May 20, 1966, in Ada. He was a heavy-equipment operator and truck driver, having worked for B&B Tool and Engel Sand Co.

Survivors include his wife, Connie, of the home ; his children, Johna Engel and husband Brian, Ada, Jason Campbell and wife Amy, Ada, and Jamie Campbell, Ada; seven sisters, Joanne Johnson, Eufaula, Delta Shulanberger, Minco, Elizabeth Whiteberry, Amy Sharp, Jessica Pittman, Amanda Schilling and Megan Lammons, all of Texas; his grandchildren, Colton Engel, Kylie Engel, Kirstyn Campbell, Brooklyn Campbell and Grady Martin; and a great-grandchild, Bryndle Engel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess Campbell and Olivia Campbell Massey; two brothers, Billy Campbell and Tommy Massey; and two sisters, Patsy Devilbiss and Linda Downard.

Bearers will be Colton Engel, Brian Engel, Dalton Lewis, Kevin Lewis, Don Delozier and Wayne Delozier. Honorary bearers will be Pat Engel, Jim Jennings, J R Grissom, Roger Burns and Aubrey Barnett.
