Services for Nathan Allan Burris, 20, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, Rev. Tony Folger will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Burris died Friday, June 27, 2008. He was born August 19, 1987 at Ada, Oklahoma to Keith and Sheila Saye Burris. He lived in the Ada area all his life. He attended Homer school and graduated from Byng High School in 2006. He was a member of the 2004 Byng Baseball State Champions, and active in the Byng FFA. Nate was a customer service representative for Pre-paid Legal Services and attended Fittstown Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Keith and Sheila Burris, of the home; a sister, Megan Burris, of the home; paternal grandparents, Nathan and Lois Burris, Ada; a maternal grandmother, Sandra Saye, Ada; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Bearers will be the Happyland Volunteer Fire Department, Mike Boisenin, Freddy Hopper, Dan West, Claude Bess, Keith Buelow, and David Piercy. Honorary bearers will be Tanner Pogue, Mitchell Smith, Robbie Balthrop, Ryan Cornell, Chris “Cliffy” Olinger, Mark Attebery, T. W. Estes, Isaac Vandever, and the Byng Class of 2006.
