Services for Margaret Lois Burris, 82, of Ada are at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Trinity Baptist Church, Rev. David Gray will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00-7:00 PM.

Mrs. Burris passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 in Ada. She was born September 24, 1941 in Province, OK to William Olin and Margaret Anna Vass Jackson.

Mrs. Burris graduated from Allen High School and later worked for the Oklahoma Department of Health. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting.

Mrs. Burris is survived by her two sons, Keith Burris and wife Amanda and Scott Burris and wife Christie all of Ada; one daughter, Kim Burris of Tulsa; two brothers, James Jackson and wife Ann of Moore and Billy Jackson of Stonewall; one sister, Joice Sliger and husband Royce of Stonewall; eight grandchildren, Megan, Jaycee, Lindsey, Kelsie, Tiffany, Erin, Brenna and Courtney; and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nathan Burris; one brother, John Jackson; sister, Ruth Walden and an infant sister; and one grandson, Nate.
