Graveside services for Roger D. Burns, 83, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Rosedale Cemetery, Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate. Visitation will be Monday, March 7 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Mr. Burns passed away Monday, February 28, 2022 at a Tulsa Hospital. He was born May 8, 1938 in Ada, OK to W.E. “Dud” and Emma Johnson Burns.

He married Carolyn Marie Roundtree Sept. 27, 1957. She preceded him in death January 9, 1997. He later married Betty Cole Farmer, November 20, 1999. He bred and showed Quarter Horses, collected Ford Mustangs, was the co-owner of Enterprise Electric for many years, was initiated into IBEW Local 1141, Oct. 3, 1958 and was a retired electrician.

Survivors are his wife, Betty; two sons, Vance and wife Marcia and Ted and Janie; three step-children, Tad Farmer, Tamara Elder and Sherwin and Traci Farmer; and one granddaughter, Andrea Burns.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Carolyn.

Bearers will be Toby Cooper, Mark Manuel, Kevin Luper, Philip Morris, Scotty Ayres and Burt Dailey.
