Services for Mark Barnett, 52, of Blanchard, formerly of Ada will be Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Ada, OK. Rev. David Daniel will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Ada, OK. The Tinker Air Force Honor Guard will conduct honors at Rosedale Cemetery in Ada, OK.
Mark Alan Barnett was born December 29, 1969 in Ada, OK. He passed away June 25, 2022.
Mark graduated from Ada High School and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from East Central University, Ada, OK. He served our country in the Oklahoma National Guard, U.S. Naval Reserves, and U.S. Air Force Reserves. He most recently worked at Woodbury Technologies as a Cybersecurity Information System Security Officer.
Mark is survived by: his parents, Janet Barnett Langston (Bob) of Ada, OK; Danny Barnett (Bankie), of Konawa, OK; grandmother, Maxine Bottenberg, of Bartlesville, OK; brother, Cody Barnett, of Moore, OK; sisters, Christi Gurley (Shane) of Prosper, TX; Lindsay Jones (Jeremy) of Prosper, TX; Lisa Cushman (Robert) of Houston, TX; and Lori Jetton (Dana) of Sapulpa, OK; multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mark and his special friend, Connie St. Hilaire passed away together. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Bob Brown, Kenneth C. Bottenberg, Lewis Barnett, Charlene Barnett Brown, Herman Brown; and brother, Jeffrey Lance Barnett.
