GERALDINE TAYLOR HARDY
1924 - 2004
ADA - Services for Geraldine Taylor Hardy, 80, Ada, are 2 p.m. Friday at the Fitzhugh Baptist Church, Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Roff.

Mrs. Hardy died Tuesday, December 14, 2004, at a local hospital. She was born April 6, 1924 to J. B. and Annie Belle Mann Taylor. She graduated from Pioneer High School in 1941 and attended Oklahoma College for Women (now University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma) in Chickasha for two years.

She married Ival Hardy May 26, 1966, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He died January 27, 1994. She and her husband owned Hardy Grain Company in Roff, retiring in 1987.

Mrs. Hardy was a member of Fitzhugh Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Carole Byrd and her husband Ken, Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Carla Harris and her husband Daniel, Ada, and Lawanna Johnson and her husband Jack, Tuttle; two sons, Kenny Hardy and wife Janice, Tuttle, and Windle Hardy and wife Carolyn, Tuttle; one sister, Donna Hites and her husband Bill, Ft. Worth, Texas; a sister-in-law, Jackie Taylor, Tuttle; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Taylor, and a grandson, Hagen, and a great grandson, Cameron.

Bearers will be Bob Byrd, Dub Tolliver, Wendell Sherrell, Charles Morrow, Tommy Eaton, and Jack Wofford. Honorary bearers will be Paul Shahan and Thurman Stephens.
