Services for Linda Beth Frye, 68, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Central Church of Christ, Roy Deering will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Frye passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at her home. She was born April 15, 1947 in Ada to Roland Hisle, Jr. and Paralee Jones Hisle. She attended Ada schools and graduated from Ada High School in 1965. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from East Central University and a Master’s Degree in North Texas State University in Denton, TX.

She married Dennis Frye March 12, 1977. Mrs. Frye was an art teacher at Port Arthur and Sherman, TX and Ada, retiring after 32 years of service. She was a longtime member of 32nd Street Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Dennis, of the home; three sons, Byron Frye and wife Regena, Matt Frye and wife Sarah and Cody Frye and wife Tiffany, all of Ada; her brother, Roland “Butch” Hisle and his wife Claudia of Ada; seven grandchildren, Cade, Case, Kira and Cruz Frye, Jag and Jet Frye and Sydney Frye; a sister-in-law, Marie Gregg and a brother-in-law, Jerry Frye.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Ada School Foundation, P. O. Box 2092, Ada, OK 74821.
