Graveside services for Anita Kaye (Nita) Sutton, 76, of Ada are at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rev. John Henry Lippard will officiate.

Mrs. Sutton passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 in Owasso, Oklahoma. She was born January 10, 1944 at Ada, Oklahoma to Guy and Wanda Raper. She graduated from Ada High School in 1962. She was a lifelong resident of the Ada area.

She married L. W. “Butch” Sutton on April 7, 1962 in Ada. Mrs. Sutton worked in retail sales, data entry, and on the farm. She was a member of the Community Free Will Baptist. She enjoyed her large family of children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, and her dogs and horses.

Survivors include her sons, Wayne Sutton and wife Darla, Katy, Texas and James Sutton and wife Camille, Oologah, OK; her brother Wendell Raper and wife Patsy, Ada, OK, her sister, Jackie Niehus and husband Dale, Fairmont, OK, sister-in-law Betty Raper, Norman, OK, grandchildren, Dylan Sutton, Houston, TX, Kara Sutton, Katy, TX, T. J. Benfer, Tupelo, OK, William Benfer, Owasso, OK and Taylor Benfer, Oologah, OK, numerous nieces and nephews, and extended Sutton family including David Sutton and wife Kathleen, McKinney, TX, Delton Sutton and wife Lahonda, Rachel Sutton, Donis McDonald, and Ruth Sutton all of Pickett, OK, Elwanda Kelso, Purcell, OK, and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by husband, Butch, her parents Guy and Wanda, and her brother, Dee Raper.

Honorary bearers will be David Sutton, Delton Sutton, Wendell Raper, and Harry Tunnel.
