Services for James Richard “Rick” Stettler, 74, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Criswell Chapel, Pastor Steve Gardner will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.,br>
Mr. Stettler passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born November 29, 1948 in Ada to James Walter and Margaret Elaine Baade Stettler.

On October 13, 1967 he married Darla Jane Rye. He was a salesman for Cains Coffee Company.

Mr. Stettler is survived by his wife, Darla, of the home; one son, Richard Christopher Stettler, Ada; one daughter, Melanie Darlene Kircus, Garland, TX; one brother, David Stettler and wife Norma, of Ada; and two grandchildren, James Nicholas Kircus and Makenna Brynn Kircus.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bearers are Greg Kircus, Nicholas Kircus, Daniel Stettler, Larry Worthy, Kent Qualls, and Tracy Rye. Honorary bearers are David Stettler and the Deacons at Colbert Baptist Church.
