Services for Linda Faye Manuel 74, of Byng are 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 24th, at the Union Valley Baptist Church, Rev. Randall Christy will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Ada. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Ms. Manuel passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Asher. She was born March 8, 1946 at Seminole to James Earl and Ruby Rhodes Anderson. She attended Byng schools. She was a faithful member of the Union Valley Baptist Church.

Ms. Manuel had previously worked at McAnally’s convenient store, at Wrangler as a seamstress for many years, at Sports Support in Konawa and later at Save-A-Lot Grocery in Ada where she finally retired.

Survivors include two sons, Frankie Wayne Manuel, Pickett, and Roy Earl Manuel, Byng; two daughters, Teresa Evlen Sexton and husband Jason, Asher and Sandy Lynn Sexton and husband Joel, Coalgate; three sisters, Betty Hisaw, Ada, Norma Swink, South Padre Island, TX and Shirley Edmondson, Tupelo, MS; ten grandchildren; Stephanie Manuel, Elizabeth Hoover, Danny Manuel, Brandon Sexton, Cassie Cole, Wesley Manuel, Lindsey Manuel, Ian Alexander Riech/Manuel, Tayler Sexton and Jessie Sexton, and 13 great-grandchildren; Erick and Easton Cole, Jaylee, Mattie, Brandt, Bowi, Roper and Bentlee Sexton, Asher Rudd, Ayla Hurley, and Treyson, Trenton and Addilyn Foster.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Rhodes Anderson Martin, her father, James Earl Anderson, her stepfather, Leon Martin, the father of her children, Glen Wayne Manuel, and her brother James Earl Anderson, Jr.

Bearers will be her sons, Frankie Manuel and Roy Manuel; grandsons, Brandon Sexton and Wesley Manuel; and sons-in-law, Jason Sexton and Joel Sexton. Honorary bearer will be Jacob Cole, her grandson-in-law.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Dementia Society of America. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Audra Cook, M.D. and Elara Hospice for their tender care of our loving mother.
