Nova Ruth (Massey) Landrith

Services for Nova Ruth Massey Landrith, 104, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Ada. Rev. Harold Ware will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Landrith passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020 at her home. She was born December 18, 1915 in the Frisco Community, near Stonewall to Elijah Norris and Ida May Fowler Massey. Nova attended Frisco, Willard and Colbert grade schools and Ada High School and Byng High School. She also attended East Central University.

She married Herman A. Landrith August 3, 1936 in Ada. He preceded her in death February 5, 1979. Mrs. Landrith worked at General Cable during World War II and later Green Spray in Ada. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Pontotoc County Historical and Genealogy Society.

Survivors include a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Darlene Landrith; sisters, Cordia Roland, Ida May Rickman, and Zenith Massey; and brothers, James Monroe Massey, Roscoe Clifford Massey, Homer J. “Jack” Massey, Tomer J. Massey and Clyde Theodore Massey.

Bearers will be Kara Kiedrowski, Kalin Kiedrowski, Ciara Sechser, Demara Sechser, Kambra Macdonald, Kalesha Betterly and Kelby Kiedrowski.
