Graveside services for Joe Ester Anglin, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Ada. Trevor Sutton will officiate.

Joe passed away April 14, 2022 in Oklahoma City Hospice House. He was born in Lodi, California, May 17, 1945 to Joe Floyd Anglin and Juanita Bilderback Anglin.

Joe was raised in California and graduated from Bret Harte High School where he excelled in all sports. Joe loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and snowmobiler. Joe spent most of his adult life in Montana. He worked in Kuparuk, Alaska for 32 years. On September 10, 2002 he married and moved to Ada, Oklahoma where he enjoyed riding his Harley with his wife and friends and bass fishing. Joe joined the Ada Skeet and Trap Club and spent most of his time there and traveling to shoots. He acquired many friends during his life in California, Montana, Alaska and Oklahoma. Joe loved his Oklahoma Sooners. He is missed by many.

Joe is survived by his wife, Darlene Anglin, of the home; sisters, Jeannine Steele, of Ada and Brenda Hall, of Lodi, CA; his children and several bonus stepchildren, Jody Mendez and wife Rhonda, Jon Mendez, Jack Anglin, Mike Anglin and wife Michelle, Shane Anglin, Mark Schmed and wife Stacy, Janelle Robinson, Shavonna Brooks, Cindy Martishius, Tina Jones and husband Jerry and Brian Sires.

Joe fought cancer for 13 months with strength and grace.
