Services for Ira Ralph Allison, 78, of Jesse are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Central Church of Christ, Bud Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Allison passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born October 28, 1940 at Hickory to Ira Bradley and Lillian Gray Allison. He graduated from Fitzhugh High School in 1958 and received a Bachelor’s Degree from East Central University in 1964.

He married Patricia Jane Sherrell August 29, 1957. Mr. Allison was a rancher and had previously been employed as an Insurance Risk Manager. He was a longtime member of Central Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Allison, of the home; son, Wayne Allison and wife Julie of Oklahoma City; grandson, Jake Allison of Oklahoma City; a brother, Emmitt Allison of Blanchard; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Benny Allison and Joe Allison; and three sisters, Frankie Day, Vita Sorrells and Juanita Doles.

Bearers will be David Cross, Toby Ross, Morris McGeehee, Randy Davidson, Richard Cooper, and Riley Young. Honorary bearers will be Scott Reeves, Allen Bynum, Will Rhynes, Billy Joe James and Derek Brooks.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to: Compassion Outreach, 1124 Cradduck Road, Ada, OK 74820.
