Services for Zenittia Irene Rowe, 86, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Lula are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Lovelady Baptist church, Rev. Tony Peak will officiate. Burial will follow at Lula Cemetery.

Mrs. Rowe passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 at her home. She was born March 27, 1932 at Foster to Homer Lee and Dora Bell Taylor Holt. She and her family moved to Bakersfield, CA when she was a young child.

She married Charles Henry “Chuck” Rowe May 2, 1948 at Bakersfield. He preceded her in death October 26, 2006. Mr. and Mrs. Rowe raised their family in Southern California and moved to Lula July, 1984.

Mrs. Rowe was a homemaker who loved to quilt, sew and take care of her family. She loved to can and craft and making homemade gifts was a favorite way to express her love to family and friends. Irene was able to create a unique, loving relationship with everyone she met.

Irene was a member of Lovelady Baptist Church. She loved to praise God through the gift of song. She sang in the church choirs wherever their church membership led them.

Survivors include her children, Gloria Byerly and husband Don of Oklahoma City, Rick Rowe and wife Sandra of Tecate, CA, Mike Rowe and wife Diane of Mustang and Chaz Rowe and wife Kate of Arkansas; her grandchildren, Aaron Byerly, Lynett Adkins, Rebekah Cass, Lindsey Rowe and Meghan Rowe; her great-grandchildren, Katie Adkins, Derick and Annabell Cass; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years, Charles Henry Rowe; a son, Paul Duane Rowe; and brothers, Jerry Dean Holt and Danny Lee Holt.

Bearers will be Rick Rowe, Mike Rowe, Chaz Rowe, Don Byerly, Zack Mundy and Cheyney Harp, Jr.
