Allen Dean Semeski, Sr., 50, of Norman, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 25, at his home in Norman. The family will welcome friends for visitation on Thursday, Sept. 2, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne. Graveside funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 3, at 10:00 a.m. at the Sulphur Cemetery south of Hartshorne, with Kenny Morrow officiating. Pallbearers are Steven Ed Morgan, Stephen Miller, Bruce Harris, Phil Joyce, Phillip Joyce, and Jimmy Montgomery. Honorary pallbearer is Brandon Royall. Allen Dean Semeski, Sr. was born on June 9, 1971 in McAlester, the son of Frederick Dean Semeski and Wanda Lou (South) Semeski-Robertson. He grew up in Hartshorne and graduated from Hartshorne High School, where he was a standout football player. Through the years he learned auto mechanics and was working for the Norman School District. He liked to fish and hunt and work on old cars, but especially enjoyed time with his kids. Allen is survived by his wife, April Semeski; his children, Allen Dean Semeski, Jr, Lacy Justine Pitman, Alexis Royall, Brandon Royall and Gunner Airington; 2 granddaughters, Brooklyn and Rhiannon; his mother, Wanda Robertson; a sister, Tandi Howard; and his mother-in-law, Rose Joyce; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Semeski, and grandparents, Frank and Freda Semeski and Belmer and Isabel South.
