Billy Pat Connor, 54, of McAlester, died Saturday, November 8, 2014 in Houston, Texas. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening at Bishop Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19 at Bishop Chapel of Memories with Rev. Bob Davidson officiating. Interment will be at Red Oak - Bache Cemetery. Service arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service. Billy was born on January 19, 1960 in Ft. Eustis, Virginia to Pat & Anna Thomas Connor. He grew up in the McAlester & High Hill areas. He attended schools in Haileyville. After high school, he worked with his father for several years and then began his own construction company. Billy was a member of BACA, traveled on his Harley - Davidson, and loved to fish. Billy was under contract for the demolition on the inside of the Aldridge Hotel a few years ago that brought the hotel back to its historical state. He was currently under contract providing general contracting services to David Wright. Survivors include his daughter & son-in-law: Brandy & Kevin Holton of Tulsa; son & daughter-in-law: Billy & Danielle Connor of Edmond; sister & brother-in-law: Annette & John, Jr. Curry of Hurleyville, New York; brothers & sister-in-law: Carl Baker of McAlester, James & Margaret Connor of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and grandchildren: Matthew Pratt, Elizabeth Pratt, Daniel Gilbert, Jr, Isabelle Gilbert, Brayden Holton, Michael Holton. He was preceded in death by his parents: Pat & Anna Connor. Pallbearers will be David Thomas, Roy Thomas, Tommy Connor, Denson Cable, Joseph Hernandez, and Larry Sutton. Honorary pallbearers will be Andrzej Mielnick, David Wright, and Jerry Wilkerson.
