Dian (Kirby) Martin, 78 of McAlester died October 28, 2021 in McAlester at a local nursing center. A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Red Oak Cemetery, Canadian officiated by Rev. J.T. Carnell. Burial will follow. Pallbearers will be, Jeremy Martin, Josh Martin, Matt Carney, Danny Conn, Larry Clifton and Jack Cox. Dian was born to John P. and Irene Marie (Smith) Kirby on July 22, 1943 in Chico, California. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to church and going on long walks. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Kirby and Irene Kirby; son, Sam Martin; and a brother, Wilferd L. Kirby. Dian is survived by brother, John W. Kirby; children, Carol Revelle and husband, Tim; Chris Martin and wife, Lavena; Kathy Widner; grandchildren, Jeremy Martin, Krista Revelle, Amy Bernard, Trisha Revelle, Josh Martin, Shelby Belvin, Samantha Smith, Cassie Carney; 9 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; other family members and friends.
