Susie Ann (Kirby) Kimble left this life on January 18, 2020 at her residence in Liberty, Missouri to be with her Lord Jesus. She is now singing with the angels. The family will greet friends on Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bishop Funeral Home in McAlester. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Bishop Chapel of Memories with burial to follow at Red Oak Cemetery in Canadian. Pallbearers will be Aron Alcorn, Jackie Smith, Cody Smith, Tommy Hampton, Dwayne Smith, Jody Green, and Jimmie Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Kirby and John Kirby. Susie was born on Saturday, December 4, 1948 to Frank Velines Kirby and Rosettta Pairlee (Floyd) Kirby in Canadian. Susie was a good and kind person. She worked as a private care assistant in Oklahoma City where she took care of her aunt, Deleanna Hensley, until Deleanna's death in 1999, and her uncle, Harold Hensley, until her death. She was a caregiver to cousins, Wilfred and Betty Kirby, until their deaths as well. She leaves behind her brother: Tommy Eugene Kirby of Springfield, Illinois; sister: Syble Marie Burnett of McAlester; daughter: Ann Marie Alcorn Etmus and husband, Jason of Dallas, Texas; sons: Aron Alcorn and wife, Hazel of Liberty, Missouri and Hawk Kimble of Utah; and grandchildren: Mckenzie Alcorn, Hailey Alcorn, Jayden Kimble, Andrew Etmus and wife, Allison, and Jaxon Etmus. She was preceded in death by a brother: Frank Kirby, Jr. in 1946, her father: Frank Velines Kirby in October 1975, her mother: Rosetta (Rosie) Pairlee Kniffin on July 4, 1996. They are all buried at Red Oak Cemetery in Canadian. Susie was also preceded in death by her husbands: Harvey Lee Alcorn and Hawk Everett Kimble.
