Donald Ray Robertson (80) of Krebs died on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Don was born November 7, 1935 in Ashland, OK to William Robertson and Faye (Tate) Robertson Lightle. He joined the United States Navy and served during the Korean War from 1953-1956. He married RoseAnn Duff in 1953. Don was a lifetime citizen of Krebs, owner of the Isle of Capri Restaurant, Krebs City Councilman for two terms and member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. His greatest roll however was husband, father, grandfather and friend. Don is survived by his wife of 63 years, RoseAnn Robertson of the home; daughter, Vicki Johnston-Muhs and husband, Duane of Mustang; five grandchildren: Stephanie Dawn Fields, Michael Anthony Braham, Brandon Kent Johnston, Ashton Gabriella Muhs and Antonio Gabriel Muhs; four great grandchildren, Lauren Nicoli Morris, Blaine Christopher Fields, Bayley Lou Johnston and Dominic Giovani Branam; sister, Patricia Lawrence and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, William Robertson; mother, Faye (Tate) Lightle; and brother, William “Bill” Robertson. A Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church led by Deacon Bill Anderson. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Krebs concelebrated by Fr. Leo Ahanotu and Fr. Kingsley George-Obilene. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, McAlester, OK. Pallbearers will be: Michael Branam, Brandon Johnston, Antonio Muhs, Blaine Fields, Pat Peters and Rob Stephens. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Duane Muhs, Steve Giacomo, Jeff Blair, Glenn Morris and Christopher Burns.
