Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700
River Blvd., Thursday, May 18, at 9:30 a.m. for Lester Eugene Stout, 80, who passed away May 13, 2006, in Bakersfield. Rev. Milt Cole and the Kern County Veterans Association will officiate.
Mr. Stout was born on October 14, 1925, in McAlester, Oklahoma and
resided in Kern County for 70 years. He was a farmer for many years on the Westside of Bakersfield. He was a veteran of World War II. He played country music with various bands for many years.
Mr. Stout is survived by his wife of 60 years, Frances Scott;
daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Norman Briggs, Janise and Dennis Bernard and Tracy and Douglas Garber, all of Bakersfield; grandchildren, Jaime Gomez, Terra Bernard, Brandon Bernard, Rhett Garber, Ross Garber, Elizabeth Garber, Cody Briggs and Dustin Briggs; mother, Viola Stout of Bakersfield and sister, Joyce Andreotti.
