Della Mae Blevins-Holding, 79, of McAlester, left this earth for her eternal home on Thursday, March 26, 2015 in McAlester. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 27 at Bishop Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Bishop Chapel of Memories with Rev. Jamie Kirkpatrick officiating. Interment will be at Dorsey Cemetery near McAlester. Service arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service. Born June 4, 1935 in Frazier, Kentucky she was the daughter of Warner and Alice (Short) Morrow. She traveled to Oklahoma as a child and lived in Pittsburg County all her life. She married Cleve Blevins in 1950 and they had three daughters. Della worked at Elsing Manufacturing as a seamstress for years and then worked in nursing. She retired from nursing in 1993. She married Roger Holding in Tucson, Arizona in 2003. Della spent her life loving her family and bringing joy and laughter to those she met. She is survived by her daughters: Glenda Naush and husband, Charlie of McAlester, Phillis Lee of McAlester, Vickie Moore of Krebs; son: Charles Blevins of McAlester; grandchildren: Lesley Medders and husband, Jon, Lindsey Parker and husband, Cody, Jeff Moore, Cleve Moore and wife, Katie, Mindi Lee, Shirley McClain and husband, Jim, Sharon Wakole and husband, Barney. Also, great-grandchildren: Micah Medders, Myer Medders, Brody Parker, Addison Moore, Brance Moore, Ryan Turney, Allison Lee, Taylor Frederick, Allen Griffin, Stephanie Chance, Becky Aron, Carmen Ellis; sisters: Lee Adkins, Jeanie Little and husband, James, Louise Hunter and husband, Fred; brother: Woodrow Blevins; nieces and nephews: Sandy Stevenson, Donna Young, Bobbi Martinez, Lynn Adkins, Ken Adkins, Tammy Little, Lavon Morrow, Terry Young, Robert Morrow; special friend: Horace Cook; and numerous other nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Warner and Alice Morrow; her husband: Cleve Blevins in 1971; brother: Robert Morrow; son-in-law: Al Moore; daughter-in-law: Bette Blevins; brother-in-law: Ken Adkins; second husband: Roger Holding in 2011; daughters and sons-in-law: Margaret and J.W. Cravins, Gerri Cravins; grandson: Brian Wakole; and a granddaughter: Patricia Fite. Pallbearers will be Jeff Moore, Cleve Moore, Robby Rivers, Lynn Adkins, Ken Adkins, and Sam Martinez.
