Rev. Leroy Dailey a resident of Colbert, Oklahoma passed from this life and into the loving embrace of his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the age of 84. He was born on January 6, 1931 in Blanco, Oklahoma to Jim and Ella (Jones) Dailey. Leroy married Bobbie Ann Cummins in McAlester, Oklahoma on June 2, 1956. Leroy dedicated his life to serving his Lord and Savior as a minister and Pastor to God's people before he retired. He worked for the Allied Agra Paper Company in Denison, Texas for many years before retiring from there. Leroy loved to play his guitar and the french harp. He enjoyed going to new places and always looked forward to having his family around him. He considered them one of his greatest blessings. Rev. Dailey is survived by his wife Bobbie of the home; daughters, Joann Andrews and husband Glen of McAlester, Oklahoma; Karen Taylor and Hubert McDaniel of Eagletown, Oklahoma and Marilyn Arnold and husband Jerry of Colbert, Oklahoma; son, Leroy Dailey, Jr. and wife Sandra of Denison, Texas; grandchildren, Felicia Arnold and Natosha Freeman, Kenneth and David Dugger and Jenny, Rachel and Michael Taylor; sister, Margaret Carney; brother, Edward Dailey; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Rev. Dailey was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Ella Dailey; sisters, Laura and Josephine; brothers, James Gilbert and Edmond Frasier . Family Hour will be from 7-8:00 PM Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A chapel service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel with Pastors Daniel Wortham and Joe Beshirs officiating. Interment will follow at the Brushy Cemetery in Blanco, Oklahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Freeman, Kenny Dugger, David Dugger, Michael Taylor, Allan McGee and George Holt.
