Bower Cemetery

Catherine Lynn "Cathy" Tomlinson, 74, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, at the Eufaula Manor Nursing Home. Cathy was born on December 7, 1946, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Virgle Lee and Sybil Corene (Reynolds) Batterton. She attended Elmore City Schools and later received her LPN Nursing license. She practiced nursing for several years in a doctors office. In March of 1964, Cathy married Geary Michael Tomlinson in Stigler, Oklahoma. They were happily married for fifty-seven years. Cathy liked to collect bells, needle point and shop. She loved mystery books. Cathy had a wonderful sense of humor and was very easygoing. She was a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School teacher for ten years. She loved to read her bible faithfully. Survivors include: her husband, Geary, of the home; son, Michael Lee Trig Tomlinson of Sayre; sister, Patricia York and husband Harold of Mustang; and a daughter in law, Laura Tomlinson of Clarksville, TN. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Travis and Todd and a brother, Austin Batteron.
