Katherine Dora (Sands) Timmons, age 67, a Wardville resident, passed away on January 28, 2016 at Tulsa, OK. BORN: She was born on January 14, 1949, to William "Bill" and Helen (Borgguist) Sands, at Yuma, AZ. AGE: 67 years and 14 days. EDUCATION: Katherine attended schools in Yuma, AZ. Graduating High School from Flagstaff, AZ. She received a Associates Degree from Yuma Junior College, and later attending the University of Arizona. OCCUPATION: Katherine was a Manager at Chaney's Funeral Home MARRIED: Katherine married David Timmons on September 16, 1988 at McAlester, OK CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Katherine was a member of the Harper Valley Baptist Church, Kiowa Chapter Eastern Star, past matron, past grand Ruth, Lieutenant Gov. of the Kiwanis Club of McAlester, Blanco Cemetery Board President.
