Warren Dale Hollis

Warren Dale Hollis, 87, of Adamson, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at McAlester Regional Health Center. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the Adamson Cemetery with Pastor Tom Young officiating. Burial will follow. Warren was born on March 13, 1933 in McCurtain, Oklahoma to Jesse Lee and Maude (Casey Hollis. He married Dera Lorraine Beshear on June 24, 1950. He was a member of Adamson Baptist Church, Nuyaka Riding Club, Pittsburg County Coon Hunters Association, American Quarter Horse Association and the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, horseback riding, spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine B. Hollis; children, Kathy Hollis Wheatley of Adamson, OK, Warren Dale Hollis, Jr. of Adamson, OK and Brent Lee Hollis of Adamson, OK; 12 grandchildren, Brad Terry, Nichole Gragg, Amanda Tackett, Jason Wheatley, Cole Wheatley, Adam Hollis, Stephanie Clawson, Dentin Hollis, Leah Hollis, Christopher Hollis, Amber Stargel and Jessie Lee Hollis II; 17 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Hollis Emich of Alexandria, WV, Ramona Hollis Alexander of Hurst, TX and Susan Hollis Madri of Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Phillip Andrews; grandson, Jason Wheatley; 3 brothers, Leon, Everett and Glen Hollis and a sister, Rheba Hollis Lout. Active pallbearers will be Brad Terry, Adam Hollis, Cole Wheatley, Tommy Gragg, Colton Gragg and Logan Gragg. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Holt and Scott Nelson.
