Isabell Mary [Bigler] Bradley
August 1, 1917 ~ August 21, 2002


Isabell Mary Bradley, 85, Stillwater, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002, at her home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Father Kenneth J. Harder officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Strode Funeral Home.

A prayer service will be Friday at 7 p.m. at Strode Chapel.

She was born in Stillwater, Aug. 18, 1917, to Franklin Jacob and Celesta [Burton] Bigler. She attended Fairview School, Eugene Field School and graduated from Stillwater High School.

On Jan. 26, 1936, she married John J. Bradley in Great Bend, Kan. In addition to being a homemaker, she was a farm wife, managed a skating rink in the late 1940s and managed a Honk and Holler store.

Bradley was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and Alter Society.

She was predeceased by her husband, May 22, 1990; four brothers, Clifford, Clair, Ivo and Chester Bigler; two sons, John Eric and David Noel Bradley and three grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, and five daughters, Patricia Charles Mayfield and husband Jim of Stillwater, Benny Bradley of Stillwater, Frances E. Hammock of Tryon, Judith C. Morgret of Perkins, Kent Ray Bradley and wife Debbie of Perkins, Pamelia R. France and husband Mike of Lafayette, La., and Mary Esther Bradley of Stillwater; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Ray E. Bigler and wife Jackie of Stillwater and sisters-in-law, Nina Bigler of Stillwater and Louise Bradley of Stillwater.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.

Memorials may be made to Judith Karman Hospice, Box 818, Stillwater 74076 and the St. Francis Altar Society, Box 909, Stillwater 74076.

Amos Arlen Bradley
May 25, 1932 ~ September 27, 2009


A. Arlen Bradley, 77, of Perkins, Oklahoma died on Sunday, September 27, 2009 in Perkins, Oklahoma. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 2, 2009 at Lost Creek United Methodist Church with Reverend Max Rudd officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on May 25, 1932 in Hennessey, Oklahoma to Herbert Vance Bradley and Grace Lillian Jones- Bradley. He married Carolyn P. Townsend on September 22, 1956 in Dover, Oklahoma.

He attended numerous rural schools and graduated from Mt. View High School. He was a retired post clerk.

He was a member of Lost Creek United Methodist Church. He was also a little league baseball coach for over twenty years and a member of the Noon Lion's Club.

Arlen was a U.S. Naval veteran, belonged to the P-T Demon Athletic Booster Club. He was a fair man, a hard worker and a friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother, Charles Allen Bradley.

He is survived by his spouse, Carolyn Bradley of Perkins, OK; two sons, Douglas Arlen Bradley of Perkins, OK; Craig Allen Bradley of Stillwater, OK; daughter, Dawn Denise Bradley Southern of Glenpool, OK; three grandchildren, Bradley Ryan Southern of Glenpool, OK; Autumn Fotch of Perkins, OK; Kendall Nolting of Arlington, TX; and one brother, Herbert Eugene Bradley of Hennessey, OK.

James Newton Bradley II
February 22, 1934 ~ January 30, 2015

James Newton Bradley II, 81, passed away on January 30, 2015 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The family will greet visitors from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4. A funeral mass will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, February 5th at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

James was born on February 22, 1934 to James Newton and Ann Elisbeth [Osterhaus] Bradley in Ft. Worth, Texas.

James went to school at St. Gregory in Shawnee and graduated from Stillwater High School in 1952. While at Stillwater High he met the love of his life Ruth Helen Whitson and after they graduated the married on October 10, 1954 and started a family.

He went on to college at O.S.U and graduated with a degree in Vocational Education in 1969. He was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Church in Stillwater.

James worked for Southwestern Bell as a Repeater man for thirty year and after he retired he went and worked for Mercury Marine in Stillwater. After his retirement he spent his time with his family and enjoyed his hobbies.

He was a founding member of the Timer Car Club in Stillwater and had a real passion for cars, drag racing and street rods. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.

James is preceded in death by his parents James Newton Bradley and Ann Bradley.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth of Stillwater, two sons Jay Bradley and his wife Darla of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; Brian Bradley and his wife Lisa of Stillwater; three grandchildren Blair Bradley of Oklahoma City; Blake Bradley and his wife Wendy and son Wyatt of Oklahoma City; Tyler Bradley and his son Tanner of Stillwater. He is also survived by brothers, Bill and Miriam Bradley and Bob and Kay Bradley and numerous nieces and nephews of Stillwater.

Ronney Don Bradley
March 16, 1941 ~ October 16, 2018


Ronney D. Bradley, 77, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, in Stillwater.

Ronney was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma on March 16, 1941, to J. Roy and Minnie Reynolds Bradley.

He graduated from Oklahoma Military High School Academy and Oklahoma State University.

Ronney was co-owner of Bradley Plumbing and Electric; he was later a Real Estate Broker and Investor and was self-employed all of his working life.

Ronney served in the U. S. Navy on board the USS Navarro APA 215 with the rankā€¦ of 3rd class Personal man and is a Vietnam Veteran.

He was a long-time member of Rotary International, Major Donor Level 4 and a Benefactor of the National Rifle Association.

Ronney is survived by his granddaughter, Kelsy Jo Litchenburg, and Patricia Wakelee Bradley, whom he was married to for 41 years.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Ronda Jo Bradley Litchenburg, his parents J. Roy and Minnie Bradley, his sister Wanda L. Brown, and his two brothers, John Roy Bradley, Jr., and Charles F. Bradley.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 10:30am at Sunset Memorial Garden Cemetery. Dighton Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater has been entrusted with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rotary International, care of Dighton Marler Funeral Home, 5106 N. Washington, Stillwater, Oklahoma 74075.

Jake Edward Bradley
September 29, 1945 ~ July 31, 2006


Jake Edward Bradley, 60, died Monday, July 31, 2006. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Brother James Beck will be officiating.

A luncheon will follow the service for family and friends in the Moose Lodge at Third and Perkins.

The family has entrusted Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home with the arrangements.

He was born Sept. 29, 1945, in Stillwater, to A.P. and Lauretta [Ehly] Bradley.

He attended school in Spring Valley until the eighth grade and went on to graduate from Stillwater High School in 1963.

He joined the armed forces and served as a Russian translator and in the Special Forces from 1964-1968.

He was an active member of the Stillwater Moose Lodge 2089 from 1974-2006.

He enjoyed playing pool, family reunions, golfing, taking vacations with Lois, playing with their dog, Missy and their cat, Phoebe.

He also ran Jackie Boys in Stillwater for 19 years.

He is survived by the love of his life, Lois Osborn; three sisters, Lael Craddock and husband, Floyd, Sarah Officer and husband, Lanny and Beverly Bradley; three brothers, Chester Charles, Ralph Charles and wife, Carol and Laverne Bradley and wife, Sarah; grandmother, Hazel Marty; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Pallbearers include Gary Bradley, Lance Charles, John Hampton, Kyle Smith, Cecil Metcalf and Joey Metcalf.

Adriana Susana Bradley, 42, of Morrison, OK, died on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 in Oklahoma City, OK, at OU Medical Center. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Strode Funeral Home from 8:00 a. m. to 8:00 p. m., with family receiving visitors from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p. m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a. m. on Monday, December 14, 2009 at Calvary Assembly of God with Pastor Russell Hughes and Lucas Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Stillwater, OK. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on May 12, 1967, in Carbondale, Illinois, to Michael M. Smith and Susana I. [Alcocer] Smith. She married William E. Bradley on March 4, 1989 in Stillwater, OK.

She attended schools in Stillwater, OK, and graduated from Stillwater High School.

She is employed by Payne County and works as a Deputy Treasurer. She is a member of the Hilltop Country Church in Morrison, OK. She was preceded in death by Grandparents George and Elizabeth Smith of Virden, IL; Francisco Alcocer Gomez and Elvira Martinez Escobar of Guanajuato, Mexico; Godmother Hilda ( Nene) Alcocer of Guanajuato, Mexico; and Uncle Francisco Alcocer. She is survived by her husband, William of the home; three daughters, Anna, Kayla, and Tara Bradley of the home; her mother, Susana I. Smith of Tulsa, OK; her father Michael M. and Lynn Smith of Stillwater, OK. She is also survived by one sister and two brothers, Marisol Demarest of Tulsa, OK; Michael A. Smith of Surprise, AZ; and Chris Cohea of Rio Rancho, NM; aunts Nancy Phelan of Springfield, IL; Sara and Silvia Alcocer of Guanajuato, Mexico; uncles Rolando and Alfonso Alcocer of Guanajuato, Mexico; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hilltop Country Church, 25301 John Wayne, Morrison, OK 73061.
