Doyce Benton Morse, 68, passed away Tuesday, January 27, in Jones Oklahoma. His memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 30 at Church of Christ, Glencoe, Oklahoma. Reverend Lonnie McKenzie and Pastor Curt Anderson will officiate. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on June 6, 1946 to Johnnie Lee and Mittie (Grotte) Morse in Nocona, Texas. He served in the Air Force and was married to Alice Morse.

He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family and he thought the world of his many friends. He loved working in his garden and playing the guitar. Doyce loved the Lord and singing his praises.

He is preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Mittie Morse.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; brothers, Willard Leon Morse, wife, Mary, of Rhome, Texas, Jody Morse, wife, Carolyn of Glencoe; sisters, Joyce Wheeler, husband, Harold, of Glencoe, Patsy Greer, of Morrison, Lois Pitman, of Stillwater; brother –in- law Lonnie Olive.
