OmaLea Louise Hogue, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2006 in Cushing at the age of 91 years.

She was born on August 14, 1914 in Agra, Oklahoma to Homer and Lena Furst Harmon.

She moved with her family to Cushing where her family opened a dairy farm during the Great Depression.

She was united in marriage to Ralph E. Sprague in 1933. To this union two children, Charles and Marilyn, were born. Ralph passed away of a heart attack in 1958.

She later married Grant Pierce. After his death to cancer, she married Warren Hogue. They moved from Cushing to Perkins in 1998. After his death in 1999 to heart attack, she lived alone until returning to Cushing in 2005 to live in the Linwood Village Nursing Home.

She was a member of Bible Evangelistic Temple for many years.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, she will be dearly missed.

She enjoyed cooking, reading and tea parties. One of her favorite hobbies was embroidering tea towels for her family and friends. She was very loving and generous.

She is survived by one son, Charles L. Sprague of Cushing and one daughter, Marilyn Sparkman and her husband Jerry of Perkins; 8 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, and husbands, she was preceded in death by one brother, Roscoe Harmon; one sister, Nelly Anderson; one sister-in-law Beverly Sprague and her beloved Chihuahua Penny.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Davis Memorial Chapel with Reverend Rick Alexander of Perkins, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Harrell Cemetery, Cushing.

Visitation may be made at the Funeral Home and the casket will not be opened following services.
