Kathryn Norton Carlisle, 79, of Stillwater Oklahoma passed away on December 29, 2014 in Baltimore, Maryland.

The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on January 10, 2015 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel with a reception immediately following. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Kay was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on December 15, 1935. She graduated from Stillwater High School.

She married Kenneth Neil Carlisle on January 26, 1957. Kay and Kenneth attended social and community functions with the Lions and Elks Clubs.

Kay spent most of her life as a resident of Stillwater where she married her husband and raised her children. She lived the final years of her life near her daughter in Maryland.

Kay is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Carlisle; her parents, Parker and Elizabeth Norton; her brother, Frank Norton; her brother-in-laws, Windell Shockey, Herman Johnston, and Brad Carlisle; her sister-in-laws, Betty Holt, Marjorie Amend and Doris Allen.

She is survived by her three children, Kenneth Carlisle and his wife, Cindy, Kellie Carlisle and her husband, Mike, Kyle Carlisle and his wife, Audra; her four grandchildren, Justin, Katie, Kimberly, and Bennett; her sister, Charlotte Shockey; her brother, Ronald Norton and his wife, Sharye; her sister-in-laws, Wauneva Norton and Carolyn Laverde; her brother-in-law, Thomas Carlisle; her nieces and nephews.
