Guy Bruce Bullard, 66, of Glencoe Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2010 in his home leaving this life for the loving arms of Jesus.

Bruce was born on October 19, 1943, in Winfield, Kansas, to Guy and Ernestine (Parker) Bullard.

He graduated from Glencoe High School in 1961.

He married Betty Blumer later in life on August 31, 2002.

Bruce worked as a lineman for the City of Stillwater and GRDA for nearly 30 years.

He was an avid farmer and a successful commercial hay producer nearly all of his life.

Bruce was a Deacon of Council Valley Advent Christian Church north of Cushing, Oklahoma who loved serving Jesus, his community and loyal hay customers.

Survivors include his wife, Betty, of the home; son, Kendall Bullard and wife Brenda of Stillwater; daughter, Calissa Kennedy of Tennessee; son, Cory Bullard and wife Denise of Glencoe; stepchildren, Darren Blumer and wife Janet of Mannford, Jodi Avery and husband Dwayne, TSgt. USAF, of Fairbanks, Alaska; 10 grandchildren, Keegan Bullard, Specialist Class E4 Oklahoma National Guard, Kaitlyn Bullard, Brittany Morton and husband Justin, Aaron Bullard, Bethany Bullard, Tenessa Barker and husband Cody, Chance Kennedy, Austin Blumer, Andrew Blumer and Taytum Avery; one great-grandchild, Jamison Morton; brother, Roger Bullard and wife Joyce of Colorado Springs and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Ernestine Bullard.

Bruce was a man who was devoted to faith, family and friends. He prioritized relationships over earthly gain… he loved his family and cheered others on with hearty laughter while going out of his way serving his family and many, many others.

Serving as pallbearers will be Keegan Bullard, Aaron Bullard, Darren Blumer, Dwayne Avery, Tim Spears and Donald Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Blumer, Andrew Blumer, Gerald Cullers and John Cook.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. in the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Stillwater Oklahoma with Pastor Steve Tiger and Pastor Jerry Hutchings officiating.

Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Cushing, Oklahoma.
