Ralph Foy Blair went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at the age of 91 years.

The son of the late Ira Thomas Blair and Eleanore Marie Beck Blair, Ralph was born on January 22, 1918 in Guthrie.

He was united in marriage to Donna Geneva and to this union two children, Donita Sue and Jeanie Marie, were born. Donna preceded him in death after almost 50 years of marriage. He was married to Edna Emmons in December of 2007.

Ralph served his country during World War II, serving on the USS Flint and served in the occupation of Japan.

Ralph was a member of the Church of God in Ripley. He had a great personality and loved the Lord.

He received numerous awards from the Heart Association.

He was a member of the Elk’s Club. He loved to dance; he was great at waltzing and country dancing. He enjoyed fishing, whistling and singing.

Survivors include his wife, Edna, of the home; two daughters, Donita Sue Wade and her husband Gary of Maramec and Jeanie Marie Kinkade and her husband Bob of Agra; seven grandchildren, Doug Todd, Donnie Todd, Bryan Wade, Joey Wade, Kimberly Anderson, Brian Kinkade and Andrew Kinkade; seventeen great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ellen Boyle of Oklahoma City; three step daughters and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, Donna, Ralph was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Hudson.

Services will be held on Monday, July 13, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. in the Church of God in Ripley with Pastor Steve Walls officiating.

Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
