Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel and Cemetery.

Clyde was born on September 16, 1924, in Picher, Oklahoma, and went to be with the Lord on October 16, 2003.

Clyde worked with the California Department of Corrections as a Stationary Engineer Supervisor for over 11 years. He also took great pride in serving in the United States Army Air Corp. as a Staff Sergeant E6 fighting in WW II, European-African Middle Eastern Campaign. Clyde also loved fishing the creeks, metal detecting and playing pool.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde James Sherwood, Sr., and Blanche Teague, and loving son, Douglas Sherwood. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jeanette Sherwood; daughters, Mary Wilson, Debra Fuller, Wanda Kujawa; son, David Sherwood, Sr,; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will include: David Sherwood, Jr., Mark Sherwood, Kermit Kujawa, Xavian Sherwood, Ezekial Sherwood, Zachary Sherwood.
