Jerry Lynn Pride, resident of Shidler, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 in Fairfax, Oklahoma. He was 67 years old. Jerry was born in Tyler, Texas on December 16, 1951 to his parents, William and Madeline Pride. He grew up and graduated high school in Angleton, Texas.

Jerry was a talented carpenter and enjoyed working on projects. He adored his wife and loved to pamper her. His grandkids were a highlight in his life and he loved to cater to them in any way he could. Jerry had many friends around town and would drive around visiting all of them.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Pride of Shidler, children, Terry Bowlin of Bartlesville, OK, Shirley Rhea of Kaw City, Shawn Pride of Florida, and Odie Ray Pride of Shidler, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Johnny Pride.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Patricia Diann Fisher.

A graveside ceremony for Jerry will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 2:00pm at the Foraker Cemetery in Foraker, Oklahoma with Brother Phil Kizer officiating. Friends and loved ones may pay their respects at Trout Funeral Home in Ponca City on Friday, October 10th until 8pm with the family present to greet friends from 5-7pm.

Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
