Virginia Harrison Eubank , resident of Ponca City, died at home surrounded by her loving family on December 18, 2007. She was 71.

Virginia was born September 25, 1936 in Fairfax, Oklahoma, the daughter of Jake and Virginia Harrison. She married George David Eubank on February 18, 1956 and together they had two sons, David George Eubank and Jeffrey Harrison Eubank .

Virginia was raised in Fairfax and attended Fairfax public schools. She later attended Christian College in Columbia, Missouri, and Oklahoma A&M College (now Oklahoma State University), where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.

In 1956, Virginia taught kindergarten at First Presbyterian Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and in the early seventies, she served as Director of the Ponca City Welfare Agency. She was affiliated with Community Christian Church.

Her main devotion in life was to her family. She is survived by her husband; her sons, David and wife Sharon of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Jeff of New York City, New York; brothers, Senator J. Berry Harrison and J.D. Harrison, Jr.; and grandchildren, Audrey Diane Eubank , David Harrison Eubank and Katherine Grace Eubank .

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Edwina Harrison Covington.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, December 21, 2007, at Grace Memorial Chapel in Ponca City with Rev. Tom Howard presiding. Interment will follow at Fairfax Cemetery in Fairfax, Oklahoma.

Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Grace Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made in Virginia's name to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 1904 N. Union, Ponca City, Oklahoma 74601.
