BETTY JEAN WAITE
Services: Fri., Feb 11, 10:30 a.m.
A memorial service will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Ln., Friday, February 11, at 10:30 a.m., for Betty Jean Waite, 79, who passed away February 7, 2005, in Bakersfield. Pastor Jack Taylor will officiate.
Betty was born November 23, 1925 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and resided in Kern County for 59 years. She was employed as a secretary with the California Highway Patrol for 25 years.
Betty is survived by her husband, Clarence Waite; daughter and son-in-law, Merriann and Peter Maris; two grandsons; four great grandchildren and sister, Mildred Starmer.
The family wishes to thank San Joaquin Hospital 4th and 5th floor, the Hoffmann Hospice Staff, Beverly Manor Staff and Dr. Shukla for all of their care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Betty to Hoffmann Hospice, 5300 California Ave., Suite 1, Bakersfield, CA 93309.
No visitation is scheduled.
