David Ross Johnson, a resident of Henryetta was born October 23, 1951 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Judy (Bear) and Charley Johnson.
He passed away Friday, January 18, 2008 in Henryetta, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years 2 months and 25 days. He worked for and retired from Anchor Glass Companyr.
He was a veteran of the Viet Nam era and served in the US Army.
David was a member of Dewar First Baptist Church and graduated from Henryetta High School in 1970.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, Charley and Judy Johnson.
He is survived by his 5 brothers, Sam Johnson & wife Alice, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Andrew Johnson & wife Wanda, Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Eugene Johnson & wife Sandra, McAlester, Oklahoma;
Tom Johnson & wife Ida, Tahlequah, Oklahoma; and Charley Johnson & wife Pauletta, Bixby, Oklahoma; 2 sisters, Hannah Foster, Shawnee, Oklahoma;
and Rosie Johnson, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; as well as a host of nieces, nephews & cousins.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Shurden Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
