Edna Lee Evans, a resident of Henryetta was born August 5, 1927 in Dow, Oklahoma to Hattie M. (Carrell) and John Clyde Evans. She passed away January 22, 2008 in Henryetta, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years 5 months and 17 days.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, Hattie & John Evans and by one brother, Monty Evans.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Evans, Wichita, Kansas; sister, Clara Thurman, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; brother, Sonny Evans, Ft. Worth, Texas; brother, Claude Evans, Wichita, Kansas; sister, Elinor Scott & husband Doug, Henryetta; sister, Eloise Poindexter & husband Billy, Salem, Missouri; sister, Shirley Fry & husband Eugene, Dewar, Oklahoma; as well as a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Dewar First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Jack Vance. Burial will be at Lackey Cemetery under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
