Joyce Faye Burney a resident of the Hoffman community passed away on December 5, 2005 in Tulsa, OK
at the age of 69. Born April 29, 1936 in Hitchita,Ok to Charley and Florence (Kidwell) Stanton. She was a homemaker and attended the Dewar First Baptist
Church. Joyce married J.D. Burney on March 23, 1954 in Checotah,OK. She is preceded in death by a daughter ;Kathy Burney Shannon , a grandson Ricki Basham
and a granddaughter Jennifer Diane Phelps.

Service will be 2:00pm at the Dewar First Baptist Church, Thursday, December 8, 2005 at the Hoffman Cemetery
in Hoffman,OK with the Rev. Jack Vance officiating. Services under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
