Monroe Brison a resident of Henryetta passed away on July 16, 2007 in Tulsa, Ok at the age of 51. Born November 25, 1955 in Henryetta, Ok to Dewey and Mozelle (Morris) Brison. Monroe graduated from East Central State University in Ada, OK. He owned and operated the Brison’s Hometown Feed Store in Henryetta and has worked the past 5 months for the Desoto Drilling Company. He attended the Henryetta First Baptist Church.

Monroe married Diana Cook on February 14, 1982 in Henryetta.

Survived By Wife: Diana Brison of the home,Daughter: Jamie Brison on son Jameson of Henryetta,Son: Derek Brison of the home,Mother: Mozelle Brison of Henryetta Father and Mother in law: Don and Shirley Cook of Henryetta,Sister-in-laws: Sherry and husband Mike Claver of Henryetta,Hollie Austin of Henryetta, Freina Brown of Bentonville, Arkansas.Many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be 2:00 pm Friday, July 20, 2007 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Paslay and Rev. George Christy officiating. Interment will follow at the Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
