OLIVER GEORGE BRENNAN, JR.
Services: Sat., Dec. 20, 9 a.m.

Memorial services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., for Oliver George Brennan, Jr., 58, who passed away December 16, 2003, in Los Angeles, CA. Rev. Keith Fultz will officiate. Graveside services will be private.

Mr. Brennan was born on August 16, 1945, in Henrietta, Oklahoma and resided in Kern County for 45 years. He was at the opening of the Sequoia Middle School and principal for the last five years before retiring. He was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association and built his own RV6 aircraft and flew it across the United States. Mr. Brennan loved his family and was the eternal optimist. He loved all of his students in his 35 years of being an educator.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Kathy Brennan of Bakersfield; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Sheryl Brennan of Bakersfield; daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Leo Holland of Sacramento and Erin and John Estep of Bakersfield; granddaughter, Kaylee Holland; grandson, Jacob Brennan; mother, Edna Brennan Gilbert and stepfather, Kenneth Gilbert. He was preceded in death by his father, Oliver, Sr., in 1988. No visitation is scheduled.
