Mary Lucille Brasher, a resident of Henryetta, was born October 1,1914 in Girard, Kansas to Carrie Leota and Robert Todd Lincoln Landsberry. She passed away February 27, 2008 at the Rebold Manor in Okmulgee, Oklahoma at the age of 93 yrs., 3 mos., and 27 days.
Lucille was an avid horticulturist raising beautiful gardens and flowers. She was also a self taught expert in animal husbandry and was renown for her fine cattle. She won many blue ribbons at local fairs and was a longtime member of the Southwest Home Demonstration Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 32 years, William Truman Brasher who died in 1964 at the age of 52, a sister, Ruby Caviness of Bolivar, Mo., brothers Donald Leroy Landsberry and Jack Allen Landsberry
She is survived by:Son: Clay Brasher of Henryetta, Ok.Daughter: Lynn Prullage of Henryetta, Ok. Grandson: Todd Prullage and wife, Gina, of Lake Dallas, TX. Sister: Katherine Chaney of Henryetta, Ok.Also, several nieces and nephews.
Graveside rites will be held Monday, March 3, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta with Rev. Jack Vance officiating under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
