James “Tommy” Blount a resident of Schulter passed away on May 13, 2006 in Tulsa, Ok at the age of 57. Born June 21, 1948 in Van Buren, Arkansas to Thomas
and Blanche Blount. Tommy worked as a printer and was a member of the Schulter Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, is Foster Father: Roy Blackman on 8-1-97, Sisters: Wanda Lou Blount and Juanima Blount, Brothers; Thomas Jr.,
Haskell and Jay Dee Blount and his foster brother Terry Blackmon.
Survived By 3 Sons: Shawn Blount of Georgia,Dale Blount of New Mexico,Justin Blount of Schulter,Brothers: Donald Eugene Blount of Arkansas,Donald Faye Blount
of Arkansas,Leroy Jay Blount of Arkansas,Sister: Barbara long of Schulter,29 Nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at the Schulter Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the
Rogers Funeral Home.
