Grace Roberta Clark

Grace Roberta Clark, age 98, of Choctaw, Oklahoma, was born May 6, 1915, in Rose, Oklahoma.

She was the daughter of Joseph Frank and Julia Katherine {Crocker} Mills.

She left this life on Monday, March 3, 2014, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Grace married Roy Clark on September 18, 1933, in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

She worked for Douglas and was one of the original "Rosie the Riveters" and was an electronic technician at Tinker AFB, retiring after 28 years. She was a member of the Kiwanis of Choctaw. She loved to travel, paint, work with ceramics using Oklahoma red clay, knitting, crocheting and square dancing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Roy, her son, Leroy Clark; two daughters, Sharon and Shirley Clark; five brothers, Joseph Mills, Everett Mills, Cecil Mills, Louis Mills and Carl Mills; and two sisters, Thelma Thomas and Mildred Ashley.

She is survived by her sister, Rosemary Gale of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with whom she lived with for the last five years; brother, Robert C. Mills of Orlando, Florida; great niece, Tiffany Roberts and her husband, Matt and their 2 children, Aiden and Emma; who were fortunate enough to help take care of Grace over the last six years; niece, Debbye Nevore; and numerous other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 10, 2014, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, Oklahoma, with Pastor Gerald Lunsford officiating.

Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, Oklahoma.

Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, Oklahoma.
