Pearl Alice Huntley
1918 - 2005
Funeral services for Pearl Alice Huntley, 87, of Norman were held Oct. 4, 2005 at Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Norman with the Rev. Lander Bethel officiating. Interment was at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home.

Mrs. Huntley died Sept. 30, 2005 in Norman.

She was born March 14, 1918 in Muskogee, the fourth of nine children of William and Nellie Morgan. She was reared and attended school in Muskogee.

Mrs. Huntley worked for Douglas Aircraft during the war.

She married Clarence Lee Huntley in 1946 and they had three children. In 1951, they moved to Oklahoma City where she was a homemaker and reared her children. In 1968, she began working as a nanny for Dr. Shelba Bethel where she remained for 37 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence; two sisters; six brothers and a son, Lynn Richard Huntley.

Survivors include a son, Gerald Huntley and his wife, Delaine, of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Barbara Gayle Idleman and her husband, James, of Purcell; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Davis, Bryan Davis, Brandon Huntley, Clayton Huntley, Jeremy Huntley, Cory Huntley, Jimmy Idleman and Gerald Huntley.
