Funeral services for Carole Joann Harper, 61, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, will be held Saturdya, November 27, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God in Midwest City. Carole Joann Harper was born December 10, 1942, the daughter of Roy and Betty Calhoun. She went to be with the Lord Monday, November 22, 2004.

Joann was a member of First Assembly of God in Midwest City, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She also enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, and helping others in times of need. Joann was a Registered Nurse and worked for Odyssey Hospice.

She passed away at Midwest Regional Hospital due to a lengthy illness with cancer. Joanne was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include: one son, Barry Hess and wife, Traci; one daughter, Jan Hess; one brother, Ken Calhoun and wife June; three grandchildren: Ivy Hess, Hailey Hess, and Griffin Hess, and several nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in Sunnylane Cemetery under the direction of Barnes & Johnson Funeral Home, Midwest, City, OK.
