Born in Oklahoma City, longtime resident of Pacific Palisades. Beloved wife of the late Alexander Doerner, M.D., and mother of the late Nancy Stewart James.

Survived by longtime companion Lindsay Beale. Also survived by children; Michael (Phyllis) of San Bruno, James of Studio City, Thomas (Mila) of Brentwood, Susan (Dan) Ortner of Livermore. Also survived by grandchildren, Scott, Michael, Lisa, Erica, Kelly, Alison, Emily, Hayley, Jack and Tessa; and four great grandchildren.

A private service will be held at the graveside for the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
