Lucile Besselsen 75, passed away from cancer on March 28, 2005, in
Bakersfield, California. The viewing will be held on Monday from 4:00-7:00 p.m., and services will be held on Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., at Bakersfield Family Funeral Dir. 701 34th St. Following the services she will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Lucile was born in Oklahoma City, and lived in California for most of her
life. She retired from Floyds after 10 years. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren.
Lucile was preceded in death by her daughter, Lucy and brother, Roy. She leaves behind her daughters, Judith Wood, Theresa Araujo and her husband, Rick; grandchildren, Deanna Jordan and husband, Josh, Kristi Besselsen, Carrie Pruett, Amanda Armstrong, Melanie Smith, Samantha Wood, Domica, Daniell and Aaron Araujo; great-grandchildren, Kaytlain Jordan, Ashlyn and Alijha Cummings; Ashley, Matthew, Heather, and Brandon Pruett; Britton and Caleb Armstrong; Ariel and Hayden Smith, Stephan and Joseph DeLuna. She will be greatly missed and was loved by many. May God bless her.
