MICHAEL LITTLETON BALL
1952 - 2005
Michael Littleton Ball was born April 25, 1952 in Oakland, California to L.M. and Florence Marie (Fromme) Ball. He graduated from Mattoon High School in Mattoon, Illinois. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1971 and proudly served for 20 years and 8 months. During his service he served as a Radio Communication Technician and traveled around the world sometimes on short notice establishing communication systems for the Air Force. He served during Vietnam, Desert Storm and the Gulf War Era. He married Debra Diane Allen on March 26, 1977 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at Portland Avenue Baptist Church. After retirement from the Air Force, they moved to Bridge Creek and started a successful Vending Business, which he still owned and operated with his wife and son.

He became a volunteer fireman for the Bridge Creek Volunteer Fire Protection district in November of 1994 and was known as B.C. 55. He is a Master Mason, and a member of the Blanchard Lodge. He was a amateur radio operator with the call sign of N5GCM-"Gum & Candy Man".

He is survived by his wife, Debbie of the home and two sons, David Michael Ball and Amy of Bridge Creek and Marcus Devin Ball of the home; his father, L.M. Ball of Moore, one brother, Andy Ball and his wife Kathy of Moore; one sister, Carol Leetch and husband Ken of Cleveland, Ohio; two nieces, Karie Leetch and Kellie Leetch; two nephews, Kenny Leetch and Raymond Ball; one granddaughter, Michaela; and his loving companion and favorite red head, Scarlett.

He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister in infancy.

He died on June 14, 2005 as the result of an automobile accident.

Services were held at 10:00 a.m., June 20, 2005 at Portland Avenue Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. Interment at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City. Arrangements made by Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard.
