VIOLA KRIVANEK BURESH
1911-1989
Viola Krivanek Buresh, age 77 of Caldwell, Kansas, passed away April 7, 1989.
Born July 23, 1911 in Union City, she was a homemaker and member of the First Presbyterian Church of Caldwell, W.F.L.A. of Yukon, A.T.A. Lodge of Caldwell, and four Polka Clubs.
Survivors include her husband, George Buresh of the home; three daughters, Norma Jean Schritter, Mustang; Eileen Waite, Matagorda, Texas; and Loretta Crist, Oklahoma City; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three step-children, Ralph Buresh, Fred Buresh and Patricia Blair; seven step-grandchildren; sisters, Rose Maruska, Lillie Betche, Sylvia Benda; and many nieces, nephews abd friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rose Zoubek; three brothers, Charley, Theodore, and Billie; one step-daughter, Judy; and her first husband, Ernest Krivanek.
Services 10:00 a.m. Monday, Caldwell Presbyterian Church; memorial services at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Yukon Czech Hall.
Burial at the Czech National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Czech National Cemetery or the American Cancer Society.
